Syndrome X: The Big Picture

Syndrome X condition sounds like some alien flesh-eating disease but it isn’t. Endocrinologist and professor emeritus of medicine, Gerald M Reaven of Stanford University coined the term in 1988 to unify the underlying causes behind a modern ‘epidemic’, whose symptoms include obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular-related symptoms. Syndrome X is the endgame of processed, cooked western diets, high-energy snacking coupled with indolent lifestyles and stress.

Mike Adams of Natural News reports:
“Although it’s being seen in younger and younger people these days, Syndrome X is normally a condition that develops over time, after years of bad eating habits and sugar indulgence. Of course, if you’ve ever looked at the fine print on food labels, you know that sugar comes in many forms and can be found in the most unlikely places, including things like salad dressing, prepared pasta sauces and bread. Sugar can’t take all the blame, though. Simple carbohydrates, especially those found in starchy, processed foods and products made with white flour also contribute to the problem.”
You have to work hard and consistently to get Syndrome X’s combo of problems, and millions of us do. The spectre’s familiar; our favourite Hollywood star packing on the pounds as they move into their fifties. We talk of the ‘modern obesity epidemic’ in America, Canada, Australia, Britain and elsewhere, but most of this is Syndrome X in all its infamy with the following well-recognised symptoms:

• Increased weight
• Impaired glucose tolerance (insulin resistance)
• Increased triglycerides
• Post-meal fatigue
• Non-alcoholic fatty liver
• Arthritis or ‘clicky’ joints
• Polycystic ovarian syndrome in women (PCOS)
• Sugar addiction, specifically cravings for sweets, grains and refined carbohydrates
• High blood pressure
• Abnormal HDL/LDL cholesterol ratio
• Diabetes mellitus (type-2)
• Cardiovascular disease
• Misc: Trembling, anxiety, fatigue, wobbly if hungry, confusion, irritability, palpitations, blurred vision, cold hands and feet, low blood pressure, impotence, low sperm motility, blackouts, angry outbursts, rambling speech, violence, depression, inappropriate or strange behaviour, forgetfulness, road rage, and an inability to concentrate and so on.

Weight loss with water

How could you lose weight without much effort from your side? Is there a secret to losing weight that didn't involve increased exercise or decreased calorie consumption? And what if this method was free and easily available to you? Would you jump at the chance to do it?

The secret to some fast weight loss without exercise or diet changes is to drink more water! Do you know that your cells are already dehydrated when you feel thirsty? Most of us neglect this simple fact so much that our mouth is practically so parched like a desert. Start with two glasses of water in the morning and make sure you replenish your body before you get thirsty. Knock of few extra pounds with few glasses of water.

How much water do you need? Water also plays a vital role in weight control. The best way to calculate the amount of water you need to drink is to drink your body weight in ounces. If you weigh 140 pounds, drink 140 ounces per day. This is almost double the standard of 8 or 10 glasses you drink everyday. For the first few days, your body will start noticing the difference. Processing more water keeps your stomach and body cells occupied and you're not as hungry. A filling feeling might result a few extra trips to the bathroom and eating less. Regular water intake will help your digestion improve, you will be less bloated and you should lose a few extra pounds.

Consistent water intake is important for weight loss because more water present in our body cells allows them to push out fat, toxins and other impurities stored within them. This cleans the system as well as keeps the body fresh without adding any extra calories. This works in the larger detoxification process.

Commiphora mukul, an ingredient in Go Lite, is described by ayurvedic texts and validated by several clinical tests as being very useful for treating obesity, Commiphora mukul helps to burn and reduce fat deposits and alleviates other fat disorders that cause coating or obstruction of channels in the body. Fighting obesity with diet

Is diet an option?

Being overweight is always a cause of concern. Not just about the way we look but also the long term affects on your health. In a bid to lose weight instantly many people are misguided by weight loss surgeries, pills etc. Though these may or may not seem to work it will definitely have irreversible side effects on once health.

Other option could be following diet. Over the years there have been a number of crazy fad diets which are based on eating a single food item or eliminating a category of food for weeks or months. Not only will this type of plan fail, but it can be dangerous as you miss important nutrients required for cellular function. While single food diets may help you lose weight initially, they aren’t sustainable and you’ll eventually regain any lost weight as you begin to eat freely again.

Diets work to an extent when followed regularly but these should be ideally followed under the supervision of a trained professional who takes care of what your body needs and in what quantity. It is very important to have an individual check up done, a program drawn up and a plan followed sincerely to make this work in a positive manner. This is very important to have a good result with dieting. Care should be taken to cater to individual needs of each person and not to over do it. In this sense no diet is perfect for anyone as needs of an individual are unique to himself/herself thus making it complex.

We advise a regimen that does not disturb your regular diet. Try reducing slightly the quantity of food you eat every day. About 10-20% reduction should help in reducing the luxury of your waist while contributing to a reduction in your body weight significantly. Yes, I would love to tell you to cut down on all junk food, dishes with oil, chocolates, ice creams, etc,. basically all the tasty ones, but the fact is it is impractical as well as not-fun. With our regimen, you can taste all that you want but can also reduce your weight.

What causes obesity?

Obesity is a situation where an individual is battling the problems of being overweight. Obesity refers to a condition where body fat on the individual has accumulated to extremely unhealthy levels, and this is causing a drop in the quality of life of the individual. Which results in him facing a number of health issues and it also reduces the life span of individual.

one of the main reasons sighted to cause obesity is the kind of food habits one has. Modern lifestyles, work demands made us adapt ourselves to heavy schedule and workload by compensating our food habits making us look for a quick fix rather than cooking at home. By having fast foods which are very rich in fats, oil, cholesterol and lots of other things we add up to our body fat causing health problems. This hampers the way body functions normally and ends up in the individual becoming obese. Vast expansion of fast food chains selling junk food around us makes it even handier to pick something unhealthy.

Another factor that leads to obesity is the lack of physical exercise. With the growing in-the-office work styles, blooming economy, comfortable life, people are pampered with their work places with comfy seats and air conditioned rooms. And there’s hardly any time for exercises. Outdoor play is a total no-no and at home and play with their gadgets. This lifestyle habit has led to an increase in couch potatoes which ultimately results in a total lack of exercise, thus living a sedentary lifestyle. Both these factors combined, have led to the drastic rise in the levels of obesity.

Luckily Herbz International has a solution with its revolutionary weight loss formula “Go Lite.” Go lite fights obesity in a safe and easy way with no side effects. All that without you missing out on your busy schedule.
